Got 3 things left for sale locally.
Been a good weekend and getting the last Star Wars LEGO set sold and a few vehicles sold Sunday helps to move me towards being finished with this short round of cleaning out.
Gotta go back up the attic and dig out a few more Star Wars vehicles to put up for sale next week.
If the 3 current items that are up for sale get sold I’ll be at my objective for this round of cleaning out before the end of the month.
Glad to recover from my Casino Losses on Friday with 2 sales and I’m not going back to the Casino till later next month.
Still have to get to our local Walmart to check for one or two things but that can wait a few weeks.
3 Weeks till collecting could resume and finding it hard to decide on what series to focus on collecting in June so far wanting to finish up with collecting Battlestar Galactica ships from the Eaglemoss line.
Not sure if I’ll bother with collecting any Anime Merch in June.
Didn’t sell the Anime figures I had up for sale so those have been added back into the Anime collection and that’s helped to talk me out of wanting any more Anime figures for a while since it’s honestly hard to sell them and don’t want that many more so if anything MIGHT get the Macross Frontier Chogokin DX VF25S to finish up the SMS Squadron.
Still not wanting to spend what it costs to collect Anime figures and down to a few things that could be picked up locally.
Wouldn’t mind getting more of the Spinmasters Batman figures saw Batgirl and Robin at Walmart and may pick those up next month, still tempted to pick up a multipack of McFarlane Toys Batman figures next month so not sure what Comic series may focus on collecting in June.
But the objective for now is to clean out a few more things and get me to my $200+ Sales Objective for the last week of May and then try for $200 in sales for the first month of June.
Setting a fairly simple goal for my cleaning out and that much made in Cash usually takes care of whatever I may need for Groceries or eating out once and a figure or two at Walmart,Bargain Hunt, The Antique Stores, or Target so I have a solid plan for cleaning out and converting a lot of the excess buildup of this collection to needed Cash set in motion for the next month at least to get things moved out of here as quickly as I can.
Will be nice to get back to when I’m not getting up earlier to decide on what to clean out or get rid of and think about where things are stored in the attic so I’ll know which box or tote to go look in to pull out a few other things to put up for sale.
Being as Frugal as I am these days with what I do locally it’s getting to where I’ve got my budget for each month set before the next month starts based on what I do locally and finding most of what I’m after or want to do can be gotten through cleaning out.
Just need to get unhooked from looking at things online and once I’m done with checking for Battlestar Galactica or Macross or even looking into Transformers or Gi Joe won’t be spending that much in a month’s time if it’s limited to going out.
With how large the collection is gotta keep convincing myself I don’t need to add much more too it and keep convincing and motivating myself to clean out more from the storage totes and boxes in the attic each month.
Time to withdraw from doing a lot of online shopping, did enough of that for the first half of 2023 and with a few things left to get no need to stay plugged into it for much longer and if anything pick up a few things here and there from Amazon and BBTS.
Expecting 5 Packages in this week, 1 is arriving today and I’m going to be satisfied to not have any Tracking Numbers to keep up with for a while after this week.
Need to keep cleaning out and it may take a while to clear out most of what’s piled up in the various boxes and totes in the attic so hopefully this week will be a productive week for cleaning out more from the attic.
